Namibia’s deserts feature dramatic dunes, lunar rock fields, and coastal wilderness. A highlight is Sandwich Harbour, where towering Namib dunes plunge into the Atlantic. Our 4×4 day tour drives past flamingo-filled salt pans and a Cape fur seal colony before climbing coastal dunes, creating an otherworldly experience. Inland, our Sossusvlei Sunrise Safari, which lasts two days, travels into Namib-Naukluft National Park to climb the world’s tallest red dunes at dawn and explore the white clay of Deadvlei.

Other one-day desert tours include a visit to the Moon Landscape and Welwitschia, where you can marvel at ancient Welwitschia plants and eroded rock formations, or a trip to Spitzkoppe, known as the “Matterhorn of Namibia,” with massive granite peaks, ancient bushman paintings, and stunning sunset views.
